What It Is
Cafecitos & Comunidad is a series of free community gatherings where people who live in the same county, but rarely share a room, come together over coffee to talk honestly about what shapes them and what they share.
Each gathering pairs guided conversation with movement, because words are not the only way people say what they mean. There is no performance and no experience required. If you can sit in a chair, you can take part.
We are not building rooms for complaining. We are building rooms where people leave with something: an idea, a next step, a neighbor they did not know before. The series closes with a community presentation where groups share what came out of their conversations.
What to Expect

About 90 minutes, in English and Spanish.

Coffee and refreshments: this is a cafecito, after all.

Guided conversation in small groups, with prompts to get things started.

Gentle movement, entirely at your own comfort level. Chairs available throughout.

A short group reflection at the end.
Who It Is For
Everyone. Parents and caregivers, youth, elders, longtime residents and new arrivals. Families are welcome together.
All gatherings are free and held at accessible public venues.
